Filip Kubíček Takes Gold at the ZsAZ Championships!

On November 9, 2024, the highly anticipated ZsAZ Cross-Country Championships took place at the stadium in Nové Zámky, bringing together runners from all around the region. Representing ŠK Jablonica, young talent Filip Kubíček entered the race, ready to compete against some of the area's strongest athletes.

Filip, wearing bib number 432, took on the challenging 3,000-meter course, where he faced tough competition from top runners from Piešťany and Holíč, who pushed him all the way to the finish line. Yet, showing remarkable determination and strength, Filip surged forward and crossed the finish line with an impressive time of 10:28, securing 1st place! This outstanding performance underlines his incredible potential for future success in athletics.

The event took place in ideal weather conditions, with early morning temperatures around 3 °C that rose to a pleasant 12 °C, sunny skies, and a light breeze of 9 km/h. Cheering Filip on were his biggest supporters – coach Tomáš Zavadil and junior representative Alex Hulka of ŠK Jablonica, who motivated and encouraged him throughout the race.
